Cornish Holiday Homes

Cornwall is a county in South West England and is bordered to the north and west by the Celtic Sea, to the south by the English Channel and to the east by the county of Devon, over the River Tamar which forms most of the border between them.

Cornwall forms the western-most part of the south-west Peninsula of the UK. The furthest south-western point of the island is Land's End, the southern-most point is Lizard Point.

A magnificent coastline wraps around Cornwall for almost 300 miles....

Cornwall is a captivating holiday destination, with it's dramatic coastline, dotted with working fishing harbours, spectacular beaches, (with the infamous surf that provide a natural playground for a variety of watersports), and of course, we can't forget the Cornish pasty or the cream teas.

Cornwall also has a HUGE history based on its Celtic roots, its Celtic Cornish culture and the Cornish language that can often be seen in the village names.

There is little argument that Cornwall is the UK's surfing home and it's easy to see why. A narrow peninsula, jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean with nearly 200 beaches facing various directions.

Of course, we just have to mention the "Doc Martin" series, which is filmed at the stunning fishing village of Port Isaac in northern Cornwall, surrounded by two equally as beautiful, working fishing ports at Port Quin and Port Gaverne.

It doesn't matter when you visit Cornwall, or what the weather is like, you'll find no shortage of things to do and places to see. Whilst fantastic beaches are one of Cornwall's main draws there are also options for rainy days and fun filled family days out.

But don't take our word for it:
